ASSESSMENT
Question 2 shows that D is the correct answer and only two students had the question correct. However, the correct answer is both D AND C. So all the students got this question correct.
Question 11 shows that A is the correct answer and 81% had the question correct. The ones that had the correct answer show an understanding of needing to go to the fourth letter in order to determine alphabetical order. The other 19% may not understand the rule regarding running out of letters and when it truly comes first. The students may have just not realized that flounder was in there and was distracted by all the words that had flour in them.
Question 19 shows that b is the correct answer and 58% had the question correct. it appears that the other students just weren't quite sure of what to do with ABC Order when you run out of letters. This is a concept I made sure to go over in the lesson since it was such an issue in the pre-test
Question 2 has been fixed on the teacher's end and reflects the correct answer from all students.

Question 11 is the concept that you must go to the third and fourth letter to find the next word in ABC Order. Two students answered incorrectly.

Question 19 is the concept that when you run out of letters between the very similar words like sun and sunshine, the word that runs out of letters comes first. Two students missed this question.

Kamari and Melis are consistently missing the questions. I wonder if it is the test question they may not understand as in using the word NOT in the question. I would conduct a student interview with them individually to see exactly where the deficiency lies.
PROCESS (PRE TEST ANALYSIST)
I analyzed the ABC Order questions on the pre-test and found a couple of significant discoveries that I could address. I have included the questions below with my analysis.
PROCESS (POST TEST ANALYSIST)
The results of the Post Test show that the areas in ABC Order that the students had deficiency were corrected through appropriate class instruction, practice and application.
PRODUCT
For their final product, students will make their own hand-bound notebook like the pioneers may have carried on their persons. It would look similar to the picture below.
The students would be graded on the elements contained in the Pioneer Dictionary.
